Circus classes at home couldn’t be easier with lifelong access to our learning media. Have fun and get creative in the comfort of your own home.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 Are you a born performer or more of a lifelong student looking for something new and fun to try?

Circus skills are a fantastic combination of mind and body connection, with endless possibilities to keep it interesting. Many people will gravitate towards one or two elements of circus but once you are hooked you will want to learn it all!

Our digital program offers you a lifetime access to learn the 8 circus disciplines of:

  1. juggling
  2. hula hoop
  3. poi
  4. staff
  5. flowersticks
  6. diabolo
  7. magic 
  8. handstands

This is the only digital circus course in Australia with AUSLAN interpretation for all videos making it more accessible for our community. 

 

How does it work?

Each circus topic is broken down into beginner, intermediate and creative skills to give you plenty of variety and progressions.

Program outcomes:
1. Students will learn new circus skills
2. Encouraging creative self expression
3. Develop perseverance and resilience through self directed learning.

Who's this program for?

Circus at Home program is for anyone who is interested in trying something new and is ready to be creative and open minded.

Age: Teens and Adults but suitable for younger students (10+) who are keen to learn. No parental supervision required (apart from making props)


Level: Each topic offers skills for Beginner to Intermediate, as well a creative expression activity specific for each apparatus. Circus is a unique creative pursuit that encompasses a wide range of skills and often appeals to those who might not be interested in stereotypical sports. 

Accessibility:
All videos include AUSLAN interpretation to make the program more accessible for Deaf students. Content is suitable for neurodiverse

Roundabout Circus is the Central Coasts NSW Community Circus.

Ongoing support

Students are offered  support through email follow up and can join a private Facebook group.    Students can share achievements with other online learners and with Roundabout teachers for feedback.   It's a great way to stay connected with fellow Circus at Home students.

Social Enterprise

Proceeds from this program go towards supporting our social circus programs to make the circus accessible and affordable for all ages and abilities. Circus At Home is part of a Social Enterprise initiative of Roundabout Circus. 50% of all profits from the sales will go toward providing FREE circus jams to the public with our SPIRAL Coast events once initial grant funding ends.
