Unique Unicycle Unfoldings - answers to Questions you didn't know you had - Here are 10 Unicycle Facts for your to wow your friends:

Believe it or not, unicycles weren’t invented for the circus. They’ve been around since the late 19th century. The circus just thought they were too cool not to include!

The unicycle’s origin story is somewhat of a mystery. While many associate it with circus performances, it was not initially created for that purpose. Some historians believe the unicycle evolved from the penny-farthing, a bicycle with a large front wheel and a tiny back wheel. As riders of the penny-farthing often rode on just the big front wheel, it’s thought that this eventually led to the invention of the unicycle. It was designed for individual transportation but gained immense popularity in the circus due to its unique challenge and entertaining nature!

The longest unicycle ride in one go is over 106 miles (170.59 km)! Talk about a wheel-y long journey!

Mountain unicycling is a thing! Yes, people actually ride unicycles on rough mountain trails. It’s like mountain biking but with half the wheels! If you are game enough you can find out more here!
