New Students - Things To Know
Roundabout Circus is a community circus school and registered charity based on the Central Coast.
Since 2017, we have been creating a safe, welcoming space where people of all ages and abilities can explore circus arts, build confidence, connect with others and express themselves through movement and creativity.
Our classes are inclusive, non-competitive, and guided by experienced, supportive coaches. Our flexible curriculum allows students to grow at their own pace while following their interests and discovering new skills.
As a community organisation, Roundabout offers so much more than weekly classes. We host regular events at our studio and across the Central Coast, bringing people together through shared experiences, play and performance.
For many of us, circus becomes a passion, a lifestyle and a family. We can’t wait to support you as you find your flow.

Getting Ready for Your First Visit
To stay safe and comfortable, please wear move-ready clothing (for Aerials: leggings and shirts covering underarms/waist are a must—no jeans or zippers!) and arrive a few minutes early to check in at the kiosk for your mandatory warm-up.
Remember to bring a water bottle, tie back long hair, and leave jewellery at home; parents and siblings are welcome to watch the fun from our reception viewing area.

OUR MANIFESTO
We Are
Artists, advocates, and activists.
Lifelong learners—curious, questioning, and open to growth.
A community of creative, quirky, free-thinkers with the courage to explore beyond our comfort zone.
Here to celebrate every person’s unique journey, embracing all ages, abilities, and ways of participating.
A community that lights up through supporting each other.
Playful, authentic, and neurosparkly.
A brave space and a safe space, where everyone feels supported to take risks and grow.
We Believe
All students deserve the same opportunities to grow, explore, and shine.
Safety comes from understanding, guidance, and connection—not just crash mats.
Playfulness connects us, from silly noises to rainbow bunting and crazy socks.
Life is better upside down.
Not all risks are unsafe—positive risk-taking builds confidence, trust in yourself and others, and teaches us how to assess challenges in life and circus. Mistakes are not failures, but stepping stones to success.
Self-respect is just as important as respecting others.
Circus gives you the courage to try—and to fly.
Progress is more important than perfection. Every small step is worth celebrating.
Leadership is about being the change you wish to see, and if it doesn’t exist, creating it. An abundance mindset is essential—knowledge and skills are gifts to be shared, with room for everyone to succeed.
Creativity and self-expression thrive in spaces that embrance individuality and diversity.
