Terms & Conditions
At Roundabout Circus, we believe in being clear, fair and transparent. By enrolling in a class, program or event, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Where the student is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accept these terms on their behalf.
WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING
-
All students should wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in - pants and a t-shirt work well.
-
For aerial classes we recommend the following to reduce injury and discomfort: Leggings, tracksuits or pants that go below the knee, shirts that cover your back, armpits and waist. A leotard is recommended for advanced aerial. No loose clothing, jeans, or clothing with zippers is allowed on aerial fabrics.
-
Remove all jewellery before class, particularly rings and dangly pieces.
-
Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied up.
-
No shoes on the mats. Shoes are required for stilt walking and fire spinning
-
Bring a water bottle — tap water is available for refills.
-
No food to be consumed during class times. Strictly no chewing gum
-
Students advised not to bring valuables to class. All personal items are to be left in the waiting area cubbys. Any lost property is donated to charity at the end of term.
ARRIVAL AND PICKUP
-
Please ensure students arrive on time for class starting and check in at the reception kiosk on arrival
-
Students must wait in reception area until class begins and only enter the training area when invited by a coach
-
Participation in the warm-up is required for safety (important for injury prevention).
-
Students under 12 must be dropped off and collected by a parent or authorised guardian unless prior arrangements have been made with the office.
-
No supervision is provided for students arriving early.
-
Classes finish as scheduled. Please be punctual for pick up of children
-
Students should wait inside until collected and young children must be escorted to and from vehicles.
-
Drive slowly and walk carefully through the carpark and supervise children at all times
-
If there is a change in pick up arrangements for a child, such as a non-family member please inform us.
-
If you are running late, please call 02 43117133
-
Duty of care begins at the scheduled class start time and ends at the conclusion of the class.
STAYING TO WATCH
-
Parents and family are welcome to stay and watch but are not required to do so. If you drop off young children for classes, please ensure your contact details are current and you remain reachable.
-
Viewing area for non-participants is from the reception area only.
-
Parents and siblings must remain out of the training space and not touch equipment.
-
For Cirque Possible and Preschool Classes: Parents and support workers may assist students in the training space. Anyone joining the class for support must remove their shoes and follow the trainers instructions.
OUR CORE PROGRAMS
We offer circus classes and programs for children, teens and adults, running from February to December in line with NSW school term dates. Classes are not held on public holidays or during school holiday breaks. We operate our core program for 40 weeks per year.
Members are automatically enrolled on an ongoing basis with no need to re-register each term. At the end of the annual program, students must re-enrol for the new year due to schedule and program changes.. We will notify you by email at least 5 days before each payment is processed, giving you time to make changes if needed.
Some programs have minimum age or experience requirements, listed in the Portal at the time of booking. Any class listed as intermediate or above may be subject to pre-requisite skills for enrollment or make-ups. We reserve the right to place students in the most suitable class for their age and ability, and to update our program offerings from time to time.
Holiday Programs run each school holiday period and are separate to annual membership. Eligibility and pricing are listed at the time of booking.
