We hooked Gosford’s heart in Neverland

The week before our Neverland circus show at our Gossy home was one of those wild, wonderful circus weeks where everything felt impossible, until it wasn’t.

A few performers and crew got sick. One lead role had to be replaced while stage props were still being finished. And yet, this team made it happen.

When Hook suddenly became an empty spot on the cast list, teen performer and team member Isabelle stepped up to the captain's quarters.

Isabelle learned the entire role in less than a day with support from her sister Autumn, who played Peta Pan, and still found time to finish making a recycled crocodile costume.

Together, they rehearsed their duels and choreography at home until Isabelle was confident in at least getting through the first show with a smile!

Isabelle and her sister Autumn rehearse their playful duel. Proof that a little teamwork (and sisterly rivalry) can make magic happen.

By opening night, the chaos had transformed into connection. The show glimmered with laughter, trust and courage. Isabelle’s story is just one that captures everything we stand for at Roundabout: creativity in action, community in motion, and the belief that every challenge is an invitation to grow.

A huge thank-you to everyone who supported us, and congratulations to our fabulous cast and to our comp winners who scored free tix to the show.
